Hello everybody,
I was doing some research on Google and came across this post on this forum and apparently I'm not the only one suffering from the problem of updates.
In this case, I am the opposite of you, as I am from Portugal and purchased a 2020 Renault Captur imported from the Netherlands.
The problem now is that I can't update the cartography using the "alliance connect toolbox" program, it gives me the following error "your map subscription is expired. Please renew it to get the new maps".
So, I have already purchased the cartography update, here in Portugal it cost €79.
I have already received the email with the order number and where it says that we are pleased to inform you of the activation of the service.
Even so, when I enter the alliance toolbox the error message described above always appears.
It is also worth mentioning that in the vehicle the default map appears as Netherlands and I cannot change it to Portugal.
I also don't know how to update the easylink system, could anyone help me?
